About GSN

The Global South Nexus (GSN), established in 2021 at Curtin University, is a collaborative platform dedicated to advancing sustainable development through critical, innovative, and practice-based dialogues. It fosters North–South partnerships and generates interdisciplinary, context-sensitive knowledge grounded in the realities of the Global South.

GSN supports the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by advancing inclusive solutions that promote social development, environmental sustainability, and economic prosperity through collaborative partnerships. It advocates for policy-relevant, action-oriented solutions, amplifies marginalised voices, and bridges global frameworks—such as the SDGs, New Urban Agenda and the Paris Agreement —with locally grounded, inclusive, and impactful actions.
